Following the 2010 Manila amendements to the STCW convention, seafarers are required to update their mandatory basic fire-fighting certificate every five years.

This is a one day practical course in fire prevention and firefighting, and students will receive a certificate issued under the authority of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in compliance with the STCW code.
