Seaway Maritime Services Co. Ltd. (Seaway Academy) provides STCW / IMO / ISPS / MCA / CPD accredited classroom and online training (eLearning) for the Commercial Shipping, Offshore Oil & Gas Industries.

Head office is located in Phuket, Thailand. Training Center is located in Bangkok, Thailand where we provide training for oil rig crew working in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. Seaway Academy is the only Flag-state and Offshore Oil and Gas Industry approved training center in SE Asia, providing the following STCW / IMO courses.

Bangkok courses are scheduled on a 5 week cycle. The following STCW / IMO approved courses are provided.

• Comprehensive Stability (OIM, BS, BCO) / 5 day course
• Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) / 4 day course
• Ballast Control Operator (BCO) / 4 day course
• Barge Supervisor (BS) / 8 day course
• Comprehensive Stability Re-certification /  Refresher for Ballast Control Operator (BCO) - online training. This is the only approved eLearning MOU Stability training course in the Industry.

Courses are approved by:

• The Technical Petroleum Training Institute, Thailand
• The Nautical Institute, UK
• Marshall Islands
• Vanuatu
• Liberia

Seaway Academy's certificates are accepted world-wide. The certificates issued will also comply with regulations in the United Kingdom and Canada; US Coast Guard (USCG) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO). These courses are suitable for all MOU personnel involved in stability calculations, including self-elevating platforms (Jack-Ups).

​Seaway Academy's certificates have been accepted by the Panama Maritime Authority (UK) for transfer to Panamanian Certificates.

​Seaway Maritime Services Co. Ltd. (Seaway Academy) is a registered Training Center in Thailand and approved by the Maritime Authority that oversees all Training for the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry in Thailand. Thailand is a member of the IMO Whitelist of Countries, therefore all STCW / IMO Training Certificates issued by Seaway Academy are recognized and accepted by all other Flag authorities listed on the IMO Whitelist.
