For bookings you can get a full refund within 7 days of the booking by simply sending an email to: admin@yachtiecareers.com

If the training is due to start within 7 days a refund will be given if requested excluding a 50% deposit fee.

Yachtiecareers.com, LCC. (“YC”) provides our website located at www.Yachtiecareers.com (the “Site”) and our services accessible via our Site. To make these Terms easier to read, the Site, our services are collectively called the “Services.” Please read these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) carefully because they govern your use of our Services.

Agreement to Terms

By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree to be bound by these Terms, do not use the Services.

Confidentiality

All secret or other confidential information relating to the business of the Client, its employees, transactions or finances disclosed by the Client to the Employment Business in confidence shall not otherwise than in connection with the affairs of the Client be passed on to a third party by the Employment Business or in any way improperly used by the Employment Business at any time during or after the termination of this Assignment. All details will be treated as per client’s requests and instructions.

Changes to Terms or Services

We may modify the Terms at any time, in our sole discretion. If we do so, we’ll let you know either by posting the modified Terms on the Site or through other communications. It’s important that you review the Terms whenever we modify them because if you continue to use the Services after we have posted modified Terms on the Site, you are indicating to us that you agree to be bound by the modified Terms. If you don’t agree to be bound by the modified Terms, then you may not use the Services anymore. Because our Services are evolving over time we may change or discontinue all or any part of the Services, at any time and without notice, at our sole discretion.

Who May Use the Services

Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you are 16 years or older and are not barred from using the Services under applicable law. To make a purchase via the Services (described in the Section titled “Purchases” below), you must be 18 years or older and capable of forming a binding contract.

Applicable Law

Please note that these terms of use, its subject matter and its formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use and disclose information from our users. You acknowledge and agree that your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Limitations of Liability

Nothing in these terms of use excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to our site or any content on it, whether express or implied.

We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:

use of, or inability to use, our site; or
· use of or reliance on any content displayed on our site.
Nordic Yacht Support Ltd have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

Your Personal Details

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

Content providers

We provide access for visitors to its sites to post material, resumes, references, photographs and other content. By uploading any personally identifiable information you are providing consent for us to store and process your personal data outside the EU for the purpose of completing a contract between you and the company.

This content is provided by outside sources and is not warranted as correct, accurate or valid in any way by Nordic Yacht Support Ltd. .

Nordic Yacht Support Ltd does not and cannot review all communications and materials posted to or created by users accessing our site and is not in any manner responsible for the content of these communications and materials. We reserves the right, however, to block or remove communications or materials that it determines to be (a) abusive, defamatory, or obscene, (c) in violation of a copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right of another, or (d) offensive or otherwise unacceptable to Nordic Yacht Support in its sole discretion.

 

Partners

“YC” works with partners to organize courses and training. We do not assume liability for the change or content on products purchased outside our website. For all products purchased or used by our directed partners, the terms & conditions for that partner will apply.

Products & Services

Our services include a completely free crew recruitment section. Users and applicants will never be charged fees for using YachtieCareers recruitment services and job search. This service is free for all users, crew and yacht clients.

Our products include:
Yachtie Introduction Course, priced at 12€. For this course we do not offer a money back guarantee. If you regret the purchase, the user must write to: admin@yachtiecareers.com and in writing state, you regret the purchase and requesting the money back. If this request is made within 2 hours of buying the product the user will be fully reimbursed. For requests made later than 2 hours of purchasing, we hold the right to not return the money.

Yachtie PRO priced at €600. For this course we offer all users a full money guarantee, for 3 days upon purchasing the course. If such a request is made by the customer, it must be in writing to admin@yachtiecareers.com stating that you want to use the money back guarantee. If the request is made later than 72 hours after the purchase no refund will be given. When using the money back guarantee any reward coupons, special promotions etc will not apply. If you have bought for a discounted rate, only the reward/coupon will be returned.

Yachtie STCW. When booking this course a deposit of 600€ will be charged. This deposit is refundable if If such a request is made by the customer, it must be in writing to admin@yachtiecareers.com stating that you want to use the money back guarantee. The request must be made to YachtieCareers and at least 14 days before the start of the course. If the request is made to Yachtiecareers within 13 days before the planned date for the start of the course, no refund will be given.

YC reserves the rights to change price plans and products without notice.
Third Parties

No provision of this Agreement shall be enforceable by any person who is not a party to it pursuant to the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 (“the Act”). This does not, however, affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available independently of the Act.

Standards Required

The Client agrees to provide to the Employment Business sufficient information to enable the Employment Business to confirm the suitability of the candidate for the Assignment. In this regard, the Client agrees to provide at least the following information:

(a) the duration, or likely duration, of the Assignment;

(b) the nature of the business and the position, the type of work the Temporary Worker would be required to do, the location at which and the hours during which he or she would be required to work;

(c) any risks to health or safety relevant to the Assignment and known to the Client, and what steps the Client has taken to prevent or control such risks and by instructing the Employment Business to provide the Temporary Worker, the Client confirms that it has carried out a thorough risk assessment of the place(s) of work relating to the

Assignment unless it has otherwise notified the Employment Business; and

(d) the experience, training, qualifications and any authorisation which the Client considers are necessary, or which are required by law or by any professional body, for the Temporary Worker to possess in order to work in the position, and any expenses payable by or to the Temporary Worker.

The Client agrees to notify the Employment Business of the above information:

(a) in good time before the commencement of the Assignment; and

(b) without delay during the Assignment, where appropriate (for example, in the light of a change of circumstances).
