I recently completed my Day Skipper theory and practical with Falmouth School of Sailing, and what a great experience it was!

My theory course in the classroom with Ian, was like a crash course in all things nautical. His teaching style was super relaxed, which gave me the confidence to ask for help when necessary, and his anecdotes helped me to remember all the important.

As for the Day Skippers practical course with Keith, not only did we put all of our navigational learnings into practice we had a hell of a good laugh, doing it! Keith's wit and humor added a whole new dimension to our sailing adventure.

Both courses were not just informative but also incredibly enjoyable. Ian and Keith's passion for life and sailing was contagious, and their expertise made even the trickiest stuff feel like a walk in the park.

So, if you're considering any courses with Falmouth School of Sailing, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough! An absolutely fantastic experience!

Great comp crew course. Thoroughly enjoyable whilst still learning a huge amount. A night at anchor in the Helford was idyllic and the passage up to Fowey exhilarating in some sporty conditions. Jay, the instructor, excelled in getting knowledge over whilst not making it feel like a lesson and his easy going manner made it feel more like a holiday than a course. The yacht was comfortable and well maintained. I will be definitely coming back when it's time to take the next step up.

I completed my Day Skipper online theory and 5-day Day Skipper course with FSS and I would like to thank the team for their friendly, helpful and professional support throughout both courses.
I especially wish to thank Keith who was our skipper/instructor/assessor on the training yacht. I learned a huge amount from him and really appreciated his knowledge, style, patience and humour!

I recently achieved my Day Skipper through Falmouth School of Sailing and the course was first class.

The vessel was well maintained and very comfortable.

Our instructor Michelle was superb, I learnt so much from her over a week period and her method of teaching was excellent.

I have attended other sailing schools in the past and Falmouth School of sailing is by far the best experience I have had.

If anyone is looking to build on their knowledge of sailing then I highly recommend their services.

I have already had the opportunity to meet the owner Rob, who took the time to advise me on how to proceed with my journey to becoming a yatch master.

I will certainly be going back to continue on my learning journey and was equally impressed that all the courses are taught either on the water or on site at their own facilities. Not many sailing schools offer fire training.

In short, excellent training and first class instruction.

Thanks guys, it was a great experience.
