HOW TO APPLY FOR A COURSE:

  • Open our website https://gimet.global, go to “FULL LIST OF COURSES”, review details of desired courses and then press “APPLY here” button placed at the bottom of each course's description. An Application Form will open, just fill in the required data and submit it.;
  • In the Application Form you will be asked to provide your e-mail address and to upload a PDF or a JPG copy of your passport or Seaman Book page containing a valid and recent picture of yourself. Later on, during the online courses, our system will check your “live picture” with the “passport/seaman book picture”.
  • Once you submit your online application, an automatic message will be sent back to you, confirming the application, at the e-mail address that you provided in your online application form. Within minutes, a Stripe digital invoice will be sent to you by e-mail. The digital invoice contains all necessary invoicing details (trainee name, the name of the course, period, and price in euro).

HOW TO PAY: Once you receive the Stripe invoice by e-mail, you need to simply press the blue button "Pay invoice here" and a payment instrument is opened, offering you all payment instruments (card, Google Pay, Apple Pay). Stripe financial services guarantee that your card and payment data are erased after the payment. After a payment is done, you will receive an instant Stripe payment receipt, for further references; GIMET will also receive a payment confirmation message.

TO START A COURSE:

  • Once GIMET receives the payment confirmation, our customer support creates your account, registers you on the e-learning platform and enrolls you the course(s) that you payd for. Upon registration, you will receive an automatic email containing short explanations on how to first login, as well as your username and password. At this point you may start an online course.
  • If you join a blended course (online and classroom), additionally to the above procedure, our customer support will send to you the learning scheme and the assessment scheme of respective course, by e-mail. You will keep in close contact with the blended course tutor throughout the blended course.
