We offer both approved and non-approved training programmes for individual seafarers and shipping companies. Steps to Conclude the Contract
Course Selection: Browse the available courses on our platform and select the one that meets your needs.
Adding to Basket: Add the chosen course to your virtual basket.
Review & Checkout: Review your selected course(s), check the total price (inclusive of taxes/fees), and proceed to checkout.
Agreement to Terms: You will be prompted to confirm that you have read and accept these Terms of Service.
Payment: Provide accurate payment details (credit or debit card). You will see the total amount due before confirming payment.
Order Confirmation: Once payment is successful, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. This email may contain or provide access to the course login/code.
Activation of Course: When you use the login/code to access the course, the contract is deemed concluded, and course access is granted immediately.
Consumer Rights (EU/EEA)
Right of Withdrawal: Under EU law, consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. However, once you activate or begin using your digital course (for example, by redeeming your course code/login), you acknowledge that you lose your right to withdraw.
If you have not yet activated the course code/login, you may request a refund within 14 days from the date of purchase.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal: To exercise your right of withdrawal before activation, you must inform us by emailing team@seafarer.online within the 14-day window.
If we have not already granted you access to the digital content, we will issue a refund within 14 days of your request.
Waiver of Withdrawal: By confirming that you wish to access the online content immediately, and by activating your course code/login, you consent to waive your 14-day withdrawal period. Accordingly, no refund will be available once the code is activated.
User Account and Registration
Registration Requirement: You must register for an account or purchase a course code/login to access our Services.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration or purchase and to update any information that becomes outdated.
Age Restrictions: Our Services are available to users of all ages. However, if you are under 18, you should use our Services under the supervision of an adult.
Security of Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and any course codes. If you suspect unauthorised use, please contact us immediately.
Pricing and Payment Terms
Pricing: The price for each course is listed on the relevant course page and is inclusive of applicable taxes and fees.
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit and debit card.
Payment Schedule: Full payment is required upon enrolment or purchase.
Additional Fees: There are no additional fees beyond what is listed, unless specifically indicated during checkout.
Refunds, Cancellation, and Right of Withdrawal
Standard Refund Policy: If you have not activated the course code/login, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a refund.
Once the course code/login is activated, you lose the right to withdraw, and no refunds will be issued.
Exceptional Circumstances: If you believe there are exceptional grounds for a refund after activation, please contact us. However, any refunds in such cases are entirely at our discretion.
Access and Use of Services
Access Methods: You can access our courses via desktop, mobile phone, or tablet.
Personal Use: All course materials are for your personal educational use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit the course content.
Prohibited Actions: You are not permitted to share course logins/codes with others or resell our Services.
User Content and conduct
User Conduct & Submissions: You are solely responsible for any content you submit to our platform. You agree not to upload, share, or distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights.
Intellectual Property
Content Ownership: All content provided through Seafarer.online remains the intellectual property of Seafarer.online or our licensors.
Limited Licence: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for personal learning purposes only.

Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, internet outages, or government restrictions.

Consequences of Termination: Upon termination, you will lose access to the Services and any associated content. Where a course has already been activated, no refunds will be issued. We do not offer partial refunds for any unused portion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Certificate Issuance Disclaimer
Successful course completion may result in a certificate. However, the certificate does not guarantee employment, licensing, or flag/state approval unless explicitly stated in the course description.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Applicable Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia.
Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR): If you are an EU-based consumer, you may submit a complaint via the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/, but we encourage you to contact us directly first to resolve any concerns.
