ECDIS Ltd is a privately owned UK registered company. Originally offering just the IMO 1.27 Generic ECDIS course, it went on to become the largest global independent company in its field, now offering over 30 STCW courses.

Their original IMO 1.27 Generic ECDIS course is now delivered around the world every week to thousands of seafarers, however that only accounts for 2.4% of ECDIS Ltd’s turnover (FY 2013/2014) due to customer driven expansion. In 2014 ECDIS Ltd were awarded runner-up in the UK National Business awards for International Growth.

As a training company with a portfolio of courses ranging from Deck to Security, they have a trusted and growing client base of 147 large commercial shipping companies, governments and military clients that span every continent.

As a published author, they have written various publications from inserts for the International Chamber of Shipping to international bestsellers such as the ECDIS Procedures Guide and ECDIS Manuals found on most vessels and nautical institutions around the world. As a supplier of maritime simulators, they have successfully delivered next generation simulators on several continents, including Europe`s most technologically sophisticated simulator complex.
