You & Sea reviews as published on Google:
Attended a course recently. Good and extremely knowledge instructors. Excellent location and good boats to enjoy your course.
A very professional establishment. Did my Yachtmaster prep and exam with you & sea and they were excellent! Euan was a great help when covering subjects I wasn’t so strong on. Facilities were A1 and all of their equipment if well looked after. Would definatly recommend!
I have carried out various training courses with Euan and the team at You & Sea. They are always helpful and informative pre course and whilst you are there. I have always left the course with a sense of achievment and new learning.
Did my Powerboat 2 course with You&Sea, extremely impressed with the whole set up. Instructors friendly and covered a wide variety of topics.
Would not hesitate to book future courses in the future.
RYA Diesel Engine Course
I completed this last month with You & Sea. It is a 1 day course and despite being aimed at those with a basic, rudimentary knowledge of diesel engines, it is useful for anyone to undertake as there will undoubtedly be something you will learn and there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Don't expect to be replacing head gaskets or reprograming ECU's at the end of this course. What you will have however, is a greater understanding of how diesel engines work, problem solving and dealing with common faults as well as basic maintenance.
The course is classroom based however as it takes place in Rhu Marina where You & Sea keep their boats there is the opportunity to go on to a boat and have a more practical element to the course. This however is temporarily not the case due to Covid-19 restrictions, hopefully not to long.
Can’t recommend the guys enough!! My experience was excellent.. Owner/Instructor/Examiner/Crew/Boat all of the highest order! People if you are wanting to learn from a highly competent team in a beautiful and relaxed environment look no further!! In the offshore wind industry I have done my fair share of courses and with out doubt my time with You&Sea was hands down the most enjoyable to date!! Get it booked!!
Absolutely great training provided here for the pleasure or commercial world. Very professional. Instructors and staff are there for you what ever you need. Recommend them 100%.
Excellent venue, staff and very helpful.
Brilliant. For Day Skipper Theory
Did my PB2 at the weekend and had a great time! The course covered loads of really useful information, the trainer (Fergus) was great and explained things really well, the other staff were really nice, the admin side of things was straight forward and communication was really good. Would definitely recommend You and Sea!
Chartered their sailing boat to learn more about sailing, obviously! A truly stunning experience and the instructor Sam was so patient and truly inspirational that we are looking to sail more! You and Sea's sailing boat was so great to be aboard - we are still talking about how fantastic the day was. If you looking to start sailing and wanted to get a feel for it then I couldn't recommend enough the 4 hour charter session as a seriously brilliant start!!! Well done You and Sea!!!!!
Excellent courses and instructors, very accommodating and attentive at your needs, always happy to answer questions. Thanks again, Nat, Euan&Andy!⛵
It was a very interesting experience to me sailing on the West coast of Scotland and I felt very comfortable on Millbrook as well as with the rest of the people on board.
Andy, the instructor, is a very calmed person, very serious and knows very well how to make you think about what you are doing and how to improve personal skills. He dedicated all the time needed to explain and assist with practical and theory, going an extra mile.
No hidden or extra costs like with other schools. No rush to get the money from me before organizing the rest. Much appreciated.
Thanks for leaving cereals and decaf coffee on board Millbrook.
I will seriously consider you for any further training. Building up miles and skills under sail is my next aim, but still some time to go now.
Euan and the team were very helpful, went to great lengths to ensure I was ready for exam day
Excellent course delivered by fabulous instructors. The depth of experience was inspiring. Facilities were brilliant and well stocked with teaching aids.
Powerboat Instructors course, March 2019.
2 hour rib ride charter on their Mustang: Excellent fun and thrills, from Rhu Marina around to Loch Long, down to the Gantocks Lighthouse and back via the Sugar Boat wreck. Porpoises, seals and a multitude of birdlife, with drop-dead stunning scenery as a backdrop to it all!! Felt well looked after and safe....even when the boat was flying (literally at times
simply the best RYA training centre in Scotland if not the UK. Recomend Euan and his team all the time. The location is also stunning. Enjoy
