Course description
The course is a course that aims to teach you how to safely and efficiently manage the mooring system and equipment on board your vessel. It covers topics such as the mooring system design, the mooring equipment arrangements, the mooring lines and fittings inspection, the line management plan, the mooring equipment maintenance, and the relevant regulations and guidelines.
The course is based on the latest industry best practices and standards, such as the OCIMF Mooring Equipment Guidelines (MEG), the ISO 4309:2017 Cranes-Wire ropes-Care and maintenance, inspection and discard, and the Intertanko Guidance on Mooring System Management Plans (MSMP) and Line Management Plans (LMP).

- Implement a line management plan and a mooring system management plan that address the operational and maintenance aspects of the mooring system and equipment, as well as the human factor and the environmental conditions
