The GZV education leads to:
Chief Mate STCW II/2 - sailing vessels - no limitations.
Master STCW II/2 - sailing vessels - no limitations.

If you are unable to physically attend the classes in Enkhuizen because, for example, you need to remain at home/elsewhere for employment reasons, or due to visa restrictions, it is possible to follow the lessons online, but the exams in December and March have to be taken at school. Please contact our office for more information

If you want to divide the course over (a maximum of) two years, it is possible under certain conditions. Valid reasons are:

• you are using a visa which has a shorter validity than the duration of the course; or
• your sailing schedule does not allow you to attend both semesters of the school year; or
• an other substantial reason, to be assessed by the Director of the college.

For the extra school year, provided there is sufficient room in class, you only pay the registration fee.
