Crowd Management is an essential requirement for ships carrying passengers so that all crew designated with muster list duties know the correct course of action to assist passengers in an emergency situation. The aim of the course is to gain students knowledge of how to enact the emergency plan and control large crowds while avoiding/reducing panic.

The objective of this training is to maximise the survival chances in an emergency situation so that all aboard are accounted for, reach the muster areas and in cases of ship abandonment, ensuring that all crew and passengers are safely evacuated.

Completion of the course will give students;

Awareness of life saving appliances and control plans
The ability to assist passengers en route to muster and embarkation stations
Knowledge of mustering procedures
Please note this course will run from 16:30 into the early evening on a week day, and will begin at 9am on a weekend.
