Medical First Aid online course. The aim of this course is to provide training for candidates to provide medical first aid on board ships, in accordance with Reg. VI-4, Sect. AV-I/4, Para.1-3 & Table: A-VI/4-1.
By the end of this course you will be able to:

Indicate the location and functions of the human organs.
List the biological systems of the human body.
Modify the arrangement of a ship’s hospital properly.
Describe the procedures of patients’ examination.
Select the appropriate external help when you cannot treat a patient.
Comprehend how to perform Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Apply the Automatic External Defibrillator’s (AED) steps during a rescue procedure.
Understand how to provide emergency first aid in various cases such as choking, bleeding and shock.
Choose the corresponding treatment depending on a patient’s symptoms for some common injuries.
Recognize some common dangers that can occur from accidents during a journey.
Apply the correct treatment actions after a serious accident.
