This STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR) online course forms part of the mandatory basic offshore safety training for all seafarers assigned with safety or pollution prevention duties. Its objectives are to give basic induction training in safety procedures and accident prevention and to familiarize personnel with the employment conditions and working environment on board vessels.
The course also includes new amendments required by the 1st of January 2026 covering two important topics; bullying and sexual harassment. In accordance with the amendments made in the IMO Modelcourse (1.21) as well as in the STCW Code. STCW Table A-VI/1-4.
