This course is designed for personnel serving as, or preparing to serve as, Safety Officer on board vessels.

The purpose of the course is to develop your understanding of the Safety Officer role and how it supports safe vessel operations.

The course is based on the standards STCW A-II/2 and A-III/2, and IMO Model Course 3.11
