  I have just completed my Level 3 First Aid at Work course with MRS Training. Mikey, our instructor, was excellent - very informative and had so much knowledge! The course was very detailed but Mikey kept this fun too. Facilities are great too. Would definitely recommend this course.

  Couldn't recommend this course more. The instructors were lovely, engaging and motivational. Every course was clearly instructed with different teaching methods if needed. I felt safe and supported the whole time. 10/10

  Completed my STCW with Matt and Charlie - both brilliant trainers. Made the week fun and engaging. MRS facilities were top notch and they even provided lunch daily!
  Booking was easy, Lily was quick to answer any queries.
  Will definitely be renewing STCW with MRS.

  I attended the SCTW course, 5 days covering 5 different subjects. The booking process was straight forward and easy to complete, but book early the courses go quickly, (a sigh of how well they are run I think).
  We had 3 main instructors, all very knowledgeable, helpful, approachable and put the information across at a very good speed.
  The course is a mixture of theory and practical which enables you to 'hang' the theory on to something so enforcing your knowledge.
  The environment, is clean, tidy and projects the professionalism of MRS. Good canteen area. A light lunch was provided, which was very tasty, with some good chooses and fresh. Hot drinks were free which is very good.
  My only observation is that there could be some concise handouts, say bullet points, with space to put your own notes , especially for the fire fighting, as there is so much information to take in. As an instructor myself I know the benefits, and limitations, of this, but this subject defiantly would benefit from this.
  Thank you to all the team, who were all very friendly and approachable.

  I did the 5 day STCW course at MRS Training and Rescue last week and was really impressed. The course leaders were friendly and informative and were there for me every step of the way during each course. A special shout out Charlie, Matt and Richard. Highly recommend this company.

  Managing confined spaces refresher course, a very good course, covered everything we needed in a good paced refresher, instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions or queries, took time to explain anything anyone was not sure on or struggling to understand etc.

  I recently undertook an STCW course at this training centre the only thing better than the content were the tutors. Everyone at MRS really wants to see you pass and to help you get the best out of yourself during the course. Not only did the swimming pool that the centre usually use cancel due to an accidental double booking but some equipment we were meant to be training with was stolen the morning of one of the exams. MRS staff dealt with this swiftly and effectively by changing the pool and going to buy new equipment on the same day it was stolen to ensure we as the students still got the most out of the course. The pace of content is rapid due to the condensed course but there seemed to always be space to ask questions and make sure each of us understood the principles we were being taught. I couldn't recommend anywhere else in the UK that I would have had as much fun learning.

  I was very satisfied with the training. The course it was intense, but Henry and Scott they managed very well to deliver and explain clear all the information we needed.

  I took the medium risk confined space course, the instructors (both Charlie and Scott) were very helpful and knowledgeable over the 2 days of training, the facilities were good. I would recommend this course.

  I have done two courses at MRS Training and Rescue and they have both been great. The facilities and equipment are excellent, and my trainer was too. 10/10

  Went to MRS Training for a Confined Space course due to work , the facilities were good the instructor for the two days was very articulate , enthusiastic and helpful

  Even tho the trainer run through the course thoroughly and quickly the course was longer than promoted by over an hour. Lunch was included in the price but I advise you to bring your own or some money as they only offer you £4 credit from the sandwich van. During the practical session trainers need to consider the trainees health which they didn’t on the occasion we conducted the course as most of the trainees felt like they where going to pass out due to combination of the temperature of the the pool atmosphere and the PPE making all feel uncomfortable and claustrophobic

  I took an STCW course at this MCA accredited training center. This course qualified me to go and work on a cruise ship. This course is around half the price of other accredited providers. (I paid £549 as opposed to a quoted alternative of £999). My employer paid for this course for me. Their admin team managed this process, and copied me into all of the correspondence. Lunch was provided, teachers enthusiastic and experienced, I would take further courses here.

  My business uses Mines Rescue services all the time and we have only had positive reviews from our employees and staff. There training facilities are fantastic and the instruction is always delivered to the highest standard. We have also used mines rescue for rescue cover into High risk confined spaces. They have provided easy to understand RAMS that cover the extent of the job, been onsite on time and provided an all round excellent service.

  They also cater for "working and rescue from heights" as well as STCW 10 certification

  Having returned for the second time, again we were extremely pleased with the facility, course content and experience of the trainer which made the training enjoying (albeit very physical!!!!) . We can now undertake our work with confidence and experience, essential for all our safety

  Would highly recommend MRS Training. Recently attended STCW Personal Survival Techniques (PST) Course. I was very impressed with the high level of Instruction being taught things i never learnt on previous courses with other companies. Professional instructors in a relaxed environment. Was made to feel relaxed with some worries I had and given some one on one tutorial which is above and beyond anything expected.

  I attended MRS Training & Rescue in January for a Medium Risk Confined Space Training Course. The course was delivered over 2 days with a good mix of practical and theory. the trainers Charlie & Phil were absolutely great at delivering the course content. the trainer kept the myself and the other delegates engaged throughout. The classroom was set up fine for learning, The warehouse area was very well set up for the practical learning and assessment. All Mechanical & Critical PPE Equipment used during the training was all calibrated and in good working order and we were able to simulate works that would be carried out in the field including the important emergency drills. The welfare facilities were of a good standard, clean and tidy rest break area with Tea & Coffee provided and snack vending machines. food Van arrived at Midday. Free Wi-Fi was also available. The training provider also offers many other courses too and they also also have mobile rigs to carry out training onsite too.
  I would definitely recommend this training provider and I would be happy to attend future courses here.
  I was pleased to have passed both the practical and written assessments. 10/10 for the facility, 10/10 for the trainers/assessors, 10/10 for the well put together training package.

  Compared to previous trainings in the past that I had in other places, I can confidently say after two days of training at MRS Training & Resce that it was a really good time. I learned a lot of interesting things, everyone had the opportunity to try everything, nice and professional staff were happy to answer all our questions.

  I cant speak highly enough of MRS Training & Rescue. They were recommended to us following some work they did for a mutual NHS client and i'm very glad we found them. The customer service and support provided was brilliant and refreshing, nothing was too much for them. MRS assisted us with a tricky confined space entry in a fully operation hospital. They easily and professionally adapted to our specialist asbestos removal program and the other associated risks this came with. They also provided urgent training to some of our sub-contractors whom again, spoke very highly.
  I would have no hesitation in recommending MRS Training & Rescue.
