SeaRegs Training

Based in Plymouth, Devon, SeaRegs Training is accredited by the MCA, SQA, RYA , Nautical Institure and Highfield to deliver a range of courses aimed specifically for people looking to work on the sea. 

We have a montly programme of STCW basic training including either the Proficiency in Security Awareness or the Proficiency in Designated Security Duties. All the elements are held in Plymouth over 5 or 6 days depending on the Security course, our centre is a few minutes from the A38 and Plymouth Train/Bus station which have direct links to Bristol/Exeter Airports and London. Plymouth has a wealth of accommodation to suit all budgets.

In addition to STCW Basic training, we are Highfield accredited to offer the Level 2 Food Safety as required under the Martime Labour Convention for anyone who handles food onboard a commercial vessel.

SeaRegs Training is an RYA Practical and shorebased training centre with courses from beginner to instructor. Our MCA/SQA qualifications are for Masters and crew as well as Instructor training for STCW Instructors. We are an approved Apprenticeship Training provider with funding for employers through the Educational Skills Funding Agency.
