The 15 day Superyacht Career Entry course is conducted in the Galileo Maritime Academy campus located in Phuket Yacht Haven Marina in Thailand.

It is comprised of both UK government Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) course modules and proprietary modules specific to interior, exterior and personal water craft modules.

Upon completion crew graduates will be qualified with international certifications recognised in 174 International Maritime Organisation (IMO) states to work on board luxury Superyacht or other vessels over 24 metres as a Steward / Stewardess, Deckhand, Engineer or Chef depending on the variation of course taken.

Course Options

The course comprises of a mandatory 5 day MCA basic safety and security STCW 2010 course along with the 5 day Galileo deckhand course. The final 5 day module is selected to specialise in the interior elements of working onboard (steward / stewardess course) or the engine department (approved engine course).
