STCW STCW Basic training and PDSD Combined Course (USCG Approved)

The 2 day STCW Basic training and the Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD) are blended courses approved by the US Coastguard and recognized by all Flag registries.

Online theory training is completed using our Marine Learning platform. Once enrolled you can start the online courses immediately in your time, the requirement is that you complete all online courses prior to attending the 2 days of practical's.

The 2 Days of Practical's include Fire Fighting, Personal Survival Techniques, First Aid/CPR & Assessments.

Day 1 (Fire Academy)
Day 2 (PST, First Aid/CPR and Assessments)

The course is USCG approved and internationally recognized.

Locations: Florida - Orlando, Cape Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach & Connecticut - Fairfield.

Entry Requirements

(Candidates should note that the fire fighting curriculum is physically demanding and may expose you to high temperatures while conducting the required course exercises in the fire training simulator. Personal survival techniques will exposes you to normal hazards associated with a water training facility while conducting the require course exercises in the pool.)
