Entry Requirements
Minimum Age: 18 years old
Certification: Must hold one of the following:
Valid IYT Worldwide Master of Yachts Limited (required)
MCA STCW OOW Yachts CoC (for FSE)
MCA Master <500GT Yachts CoC (for FSE)
MCA-stamped Notice of Eligibility (NOE)
MCA Master (Code Vessel) <200GT or Master <500GT Yachts (150nm/Near Coastal)
Marshall Islands Master (STCW II/3) <350GT Yachts or Chief Mate (STCW II/3) <500GT Yachts
AMSA Master <35m Near Coastal (Master 4)
Commercial STCW Merchant Navy CoC holders (subject to sea time validation)
Sea Experience:
Two passages of 250 miles each, or one passage of 500 miles, out of sight of land
Passage must include a detailed passage plan (reviewed and debriefed during course)
Ideally completed before course start, but may be accepted afterward in special cases
Medical Requirements:
Current medical fitness certificate
Valid eyesight and colour vision test (within the last 2 years)
