This U.K. MCA Approved course provides knowledge of essential prevention and survival techniques, including theory and practice sessions, investigating causes of distress, knowledge and use of equipment, launch and recovery of life rafts, preparation for survival, personal survival skills and use of search and rescue organisations. 

We normally offer this course as a part our U.K. MCA Approved STCW Basic Training Package and the dates shown are for commencement of that 5 day package.

Entry Requirements

ENG 1 medical certificate or acceptable alternative.
Note. ENG 1 is not available in Thailand. We are able to provide details of where to obtain a Norwegian Seafarers Medical in Bangkok, which is an acceptable equivalent.
