This course fulfills the requirements of the South African Code of Maritime Qualifications, the SA Merchant Shipping (Safe Manning, Training and Certification) Regulations , 2012. The course is accredited by SAMSA and meets the requirements of section A-VI/3 of STCW. Certificates are issued to successful candidates on completion.

Requirements

The requirements are for candidates to have completed the 3-day Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting course.

Candidates are advised to take with them their ID books, valid Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting certificate, valid medical fitness certificate (on day 1).

All candidates must be conversant and literate in English. Refreshments and lunch are provided whilst on course.
