Falmouth Training Solutions runs alongside its sister companies, Falmouth School of Sailing and Falmouth Powerboat School. Falmouth School of Sailing is an established company with a vast and respected reputation throughout the maritime industry in Falmouth. They deliver training in all areas running shorebased courses from Work Place/RYA First Aid to VHF/MCA Short Range Radio Courses. They are a very respected deliverer of powerboating courses, running training through the entire syllabus right up to commercial levels. They are fully registered with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA).
The commercial maritime industry is growing significantly and with that growth there is genuine need for quality training. Falmouth Training Solutions offers that “Quality in training” through our very experienced instructors and facilities that are available to us. Falmouth Training Solutions are at the front of training in the South west. We are the only provider in Cornwall who can offer all the MCA STCW elements required for the complete Basic STCW who operate all the courses locally in Cornwall. This is the minimum requirement for any seafarer working within a commercial role must carry for employment.

Through our instructor’s experience, we are able to deliver I higher standard of training to that of our counterparts. The experience is second to none and not easily replicated elsewhere. We are committed to offering a quality that not only the MCA as a governing body and happy with but one the customer and student will be more than satisfied with. This will intern spread toward the companies and we hope to gain contracts to supply certain companies with full training packages.

Just spent 5 days doing their full 5 day STCW Course! And what an experience it's been!! Id Spoken to the Team over the phone and via emails as I live 450 miles away it was incredibly easy to book and from day 1 it's been fantastic! Great to learn from people who have had years of experience in the field!! Would happily do 900 mile round trip again just to do further courses! Thank you to everyone!
